Robert Waldeck is a Canadian visual artist, documentary filmmaker, and arts educator. In addition to degrees from the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University, he holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo. His work has been exhibited at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery (Canada), the Robert Langen Gallery (Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada), Render Gallery (University of Waterloo), LOOP Gallery (Toronto), and throughout the United States, including the Limner Gallery (New York City), Gallery RFD (Swainsboro, GA), the Tallahassee International at the Museum of Fine Arts (Florida State University), and Crossing Art (Flushing, NY).

As a filmmaker, he has received awards for Best Documentary- Local Focus Film Festival, Runner-up Best Experimental- Great Lakes Independent Film Festival, and Best Experimental Film- the Columbus Film/Video Consortium.  His films have screened at international venues such as the Not Still Art Film Festival (Brooklyn, NY), Cincy Fringe Festival (Cincinnati, Ohio), and Videoholica (Varna, Bulgria).

In addition to his art experience, he has taught at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, McMaster University, Centennial College, Toronto School of Art, and Forest Heights Collegiate Institute.
